James Etter
James is an exceptional clinical psychologist known for his calm, thoughtful approach and his ability to put people at ease.
James has supported people across a wide range of settings, including community services, workplace wellbeing programs, and specialist hospital clinics. His experience spans helping clients manage anxiety, depression, and work-related stress, through to supporting individuals living with chronic pain and more complex challenges such as trauma, eating concerns, and personality difficulties.
James tailors his approach to each individual, drawing on proven psychological therapies to suit the person and the problem at hand. His practice is guided by evidence-based methods such as Schema Therapy, EMDR, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based strategies, always applied with warmth, flexibility, and honesty.
James registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and holds endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
